  1. Dear Mr. Madden,

I visited the Thomas Wolfe house in Asheville, North Carolina and spoke to several people there who told me that you would be a good choice as an author to write a book about Thomas Wolfe, the Asheville region and other famous writers from the region. I am also looking for someone to write a children’s book about Thomas Wolfe and Asheville. Civil war books of any kind are interest to us also. If any of this piques your interest, please give me a call at 301-731-9545.

We are one of the ten largest publishers in the United States. We publish many regional books under such imprints as Down East Books, Taylor Trade Publishing, Northland Books, Rowman & Littlefield, Scarecrow Press, etc.
